As I drove into work this morning I heard yet another large corporation making announcements of mass redundancies. As we go through a period of shifting focus in the Australian work environment; from car manufacturing, mining and large government departments, I’m left pondering, how do we maintain the motivation of employees that are working in what currently feels like a volatile environment? The following article is a good read as a start; unfortunately it does point to tech companies but it is from HR Tech World. I like its focus around company values and how managers communicate those to employees.
